High Desert Collection

Fresco artist Steve Bogdanoff relocated to Santa Fe, NM in 2006. Prior to his move, Steve thought that the colors portrayed in Southwestern art was an exaggeration. He was blown away, and still is, at the sunsets in Santa Fe, not to mention the natural beauty the high desert has to offer. With hundreds of hiking trails and National parks in New Mexico, Steve has an abundance of resources to draw from.

Steve eventually found a need to incorporate the magnificence of the Southwest into his fresco style. How fitting, since New Mexico has ancient history, as evidenced by the Petroglyph National Monument which dates back to 10,000 BC.
